Dear Spartan community,

Congratulations on a strong and successful fall semester! Now that finals have ended, I hope that you will have the opportunity to spend the coming weeks resting, recharging and – for those who are able – spending time with family and friends.

I am continually thankful to be a part of this university, and for the warm welcome it extended to Mike and me when we arrived at the start of the year. We would like to wish each of you a happy and healthy holiday season, and hope you will take a moment to watch the message below.

As we look forward to the start of a new year, it’s also a good time to look back at all we’ve seen and done on campus over the past 12 months. The team behind SJSU’s Washington Square magazine has put together a fantastic Year in Review feature, which I am delighted to share with you here.
