Dear Campus Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that we are now just
three months away from the go-live of the CSUBUY Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system!

This milestone represents more than just a technology deployment - it is part of a larger
CSU systemwide initiative under the Multi-University Collaboration directive, aimed at streamlining and standardizing procurement and payment processes across all CSU campuses. Together, we are building a modern, unified approach to how the CSU does business.

What is CSUBUY P2P?
CSUBUY P2P is an integrated, end-to-end procurement and payment solution designed to connect requisitioning, approvals, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing and payment in a single, user-friendly platform. It is a critical component of the CSU’s strategic vision for collaborative efficiency, transparency, and cost-effective procurement.

Key Features & Benefits
  • Intuitive User Interface: Simplifies the ordering and approval process for campus departments.
  • Catalog Purchasing: Pre-loaded supplier catalogs reduce time spent searching for goods and services and no longer require ProCard reconciliations.
  • Automated Workflows: Ensures faster routing and approval, minimizing delays and bottlenecks.
  • Improved Transparency: Real-time visibility into the entire procure-to-pay lifecycle.
  • Streamlined Payments: Faster, more accurate invoice processing benefits both departments and suppliers.
  • Systemwide Integration: Aligns campus financial systems with a unified CSU procurement and payment solution

Benefits for Department End Users

For department users, CSUBUY P2P will:
  • Eliminate redundant, manual processes
  • Reduce paperwork and approval confusion
  • Provide a centralized place to track purchases and payments
  • Ensure compliance with CSU policies with minimal extra effort
This transformation will give end users greater control, fewer delays, and a clearer view of their procurement activity—freeing up time to focus on higher-value work.

What’s Coming Next?
In the weeks ahead, we will be sharing:
  • Training schedules tailored to user roles
  • Live demos and town halls
  • Job aids, quick guides, etc.
  • Go-live readiness updates
Our collective goal is to ensure a smooth transition and confident users on day one.

Thank You!
We want to acknowledge the incredible campus attendance at the end user and compliance approver demo series.
