Dear Campus Community,
In follow up to my campus message on April 27, I am sharing the video from our Campus Summit that we hosted a few weeks ago. You may recall that the Summit was held to engage with students, staff, and faculty around our campus mission, vision, and values statements, hear from the co-Chairs of our Campus Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and discuss the prioritization of desired outcomes from the Transformation 2030 goals. Additionally, there is still time for you to provide input. Your engagement is vital to these efforts, and after reviewing the video and materials linked below, you can complete the questionnaires until the end of day Friday, May 26.
- Mission, Vision, and Values: Read and consider the draft mission, vision, and values statements. Provide input on these statements by responding to the questionnaire.
- Campus Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CCDEI) work: Review the CCDEI Action Plan Framework and the CCDEI Template for Action Plans. Respond to the questionnaire here.
- Affirmation of Transformation 2030 Goals: Read through the five Transformation 2030 goals and their desired outcomes. In this questionnaire, you can share what you think is missing from the desired outcomes and provide your perspective on how we should prioritize them. You can also offer suggestions about priorities regarding “the business of running the university.”
As a reminder, I will share what we learned from this process in my fall address. More details about the enrollment summit are forthcoming.
